Firstly, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding. I know how much trust goes into selecting the person who will document one of the most important days of your life, and I genuinely couldn't be more excited to be part of it.
Now that your date is officially secured, you can relax knowing your wedding photography is taken care of. From this point onwards, I'm here not only as your photographer, but also as a friendly resource throughout your wedding planning journey. Whether you have questions about timelines, lighting, suppliers, venues or simply need a little reassurance, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
One of the questions couples often ask is how much contact we'll have between now and the wedding day.
The answer is simple: as much or as little as you need.
Whilst there may be periods where you don't hear from me regularly, please know that I'm always here if you need me. Wedding plans naturally evolve over many months, and often change several times before everything is finalised.
You are always welcome to get in touch with updates, questions or ideas along the way. I'm available via WhatsApp during normal working hours, and if you'd like to arrange a call, it's usually best to schedule a convenient time in advance.
Around two months before your wedding, I'll send you my pre-wedding questionnaire. This is where we'll start bringing together all the finer details of your day, including timings, family photographs and any important information you'd like me to know.
I intentionally leave this stage until closer to the wedding because most couples have their final venue meeting around this time, meaning plans are much more likely to be finalised and accurate. It allows us to create a photography plan that reflects your day exactly as it will unfold.
One thing I want you to know from the very beginning is that my role on your wedding day goes far beyond taking photographs.
My aim is to be a calm and reassuring presence throughout the day, helping everything feel relaxed and effortless while documenting your story as it naturally unfolds. Whether that's fixing a buttonhole, helping you into your dress, keeping an eye on timings, or simply giving you a moment to breathe when the emotions start to feel overwhelming, I'm always there to support you.
Many couples tell me afterwards that one of the things they valued most was how comfortable they felt in front of my camera. You never need to worry about being awkward, photogenic or knowing what to do. My approach is gentle, natural and unobtrusive, allowing you to focus on enjoying every moment with the people you love most.
The photographs are incredibly important, of course, but so is your experience of the day itself. I want you to look back and remember how it felt, not just how it looked.
From now until your wedding day, I'm here whenever you need me, and I genuinely cannot wait to celebrate alongside you and capture your story.
With your photography secured, now is the perfect time to focus on building your dream supplier team.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented wedding professionals. The recommendations below are suppliers that I personally trust, who consistently go above and beyond for their couples, and who I would happily recommend to my own friends and family.
Whether you're still searching for a florist, celebrant, hair stylist, videographer, entertainment or those finishing touches that will bring everything together, I hope this guide helps make your planning process a little easier.
Every wedding is unique, but having a wonderful team around you can make such a difference, not only to the final result, but to the experience of planning it too.
Most importantly, enjoy this season of your lives. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, but it should also be exciting, memorable and full of moments you'll look back on fondly.
Thank you again for trusting me with such an important role. I genuinely cannot wait to capture your day and tell your story.
Happy planning, and remember that I'm always here if you need anything along the way.

This guide includes many of my trusted recommendations, but I'm always happy to make more personalised suggestions based on your venue, style and plans. If you're still searching for a particular supplier, just drop me a message and I'll do my best to help. After all, building the right team is one of the most important parts of creating a wedding day that feels effortless, enjoyable and completely you.

Your date is now secured in my diary and you can relax knowing your wedding photography is taken care of.
For now, the most important thing is to enjoy this exciting stage of planning and continue building your dream supplier team. You'll find plenty of trusted recommendations throughout this guide to help you along the way.

Over the coming months, your wedding plans will naturally evolve. Timings will change, guest numbers may fluctuate, and you'll have meetings with your venue and suppliers as everything starts to come together.
Whilst there may be periods where you don't hear from me regularly, please know that I'm always here if you need advice, recommendations or simply want to ask a question.

Most venues arrange a final planning meeting around 6–12 weeks before the wedding.
This is where many of the finer details are confirmed, including your timeline, ceremony arrangements, meal service and other logistics.
Because plans often change during the planning process, I intentionally wait until after this meeting before we finalise your photography plans.

Once I've received your completed questionnaire, I'll review everything carefully and begin planning the photography side of your day.
We'll arrange a call to discuss any final details, go over everything and make sure everything is perfectly in place.
By this stage, you can relax knowing all the logistics have been covered.

Approximately two months before your wedding, I'll send you my pre-wedding questionnaire.
This allows me to gather all the important information about your day, including:
• Timings
• Family group photographs
• Key moments
• Important people
• Supplier information
• Any special requests or surprises
The more information I have, the better prepared I can be to tell your story beautifully.
You can view it here, if you'd like to take a look.

Wedding planning can feel exciting, overwhelming, emotional and incredibly special all at once.
Over the coming months, there will be moments where everything feels beautifully organised and moments where your to-do list seems never-ending. Both are completely normal.
Please remember that you don't have to navigate everything alone. Whether you need advice, supplier recommendations, help with timelines or simply someone to reassure you that everything is coming together exactly as it should, I'm always just a message away.
Thank you again for trusting me with such an important role in your wedding day. It truly means the world, and I cannot wait to capture your story.
Enjoy every moment of this chapter together, it passes far more quickly than you imagine.
